Case Study 1
Diaries (Booklets). A large CRO required 3,000 each of two types of Patient Diaries: 11 language variants plus 2 additional site specific versions which would need to be produced and delivered within an extremely tight timescale and to multi-tiered schedules.
The solution
DC Print received the various artworks adhoc along with the different language copies for the individual countries, these were then converted from Microsoft Word files to a standard format, proofed and corrected for final approval.
A dedicated Artworker was assigned to liaise with the various contacts throughout Europe to gain approval of the documents directly and make amendments as necessary.
Once this process was begun a Project Manager at DC Print was tasked with monitoring, scheduling, quoting and ensuring timely delivery of the products. A spreadsheet was created and updated daily to ensure both the client and our production team were fully informed of the progress of the various items and their next set of start-up dates.
At the point of dispatch, airway bills were sent to our client so that consignments could be tracked across Europe directly. The whole process and team being overseen by the Pharmaceutical Account Manager at DC Print.
Result
In total 13,850 of the multi-language diaries were produced, 14 deliveries made and 100% of the timelines met or exceeded.
